BB Leap

For our Growth Strategies and Organisational Challenges module, we requested to formulate a growth strategy for a technologically-led agricultural organisation, BB Leap. The aim of BB Leap is to make farming possible on plant level. As a team, we were approached on how to grow BB Leap and ensure that BBLeap appropriates the value created for its customers? Finally, we had to decipher whether BB Leap should become an open platform for micro-farming and (if so) how the platform strategy should look like.

Through extensive array of skills that had to be enhanced and utilised during this project, such as collaboration; efficient delegation of tasks; and a aligned, coherent approach to tackling the business case, we curated a digital platform strategy a platform strategy to ensure compatibility with BB Leap technology with complementors, ultimately growing the accessibility and adoption of their technology. Additionally, our international expansion and technological development strategies heightened the probability that BB Leap would appropriate value form its customer base.
